Classic Tanzania Safari

11 days/10 nights

The Tanzania Classic Safari traverses the Northern Game Park Circuit, delivering the quintessential African experience from the Serengeti’s expansive plains to the dramatic scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater.

This itinerary is designed for comfort, featuring a well-paced drive through evolving landscapes with no single transit leg exceeding two hours. To maximize your time, the journey concludes with a convenient flight back to Arusha.

A special note on the migration. Many travelers hope to witness the Great Migration, seeing the wildebeest and zebra herds cross into Kenya requires precise timing and significant luck. Since the animals frequently shift their patterns, encountering the migrating herds is a distinct possibility, but it is best not to make a river crossing the sole focus of your trip. There is always fabulous resident plains game and predators.

Your professional guide will meet you in Arusha on arrival. He/she will stay with you until your safari ends in the Serengeti. There is nothing better than being with a dedicated guide for multi-days. They learn your way of travel, what are your favorite species, and what you have seen the day before, looking to show you new and exciting experiences. They are a storyteller, your host, and will handle everything from your check-in at hotels to carrying your luggage and making sure that the hotel knows about any dietary requirements.

Every Born Free East Africa safari itinerary is tailored to your specific travel dates to provide the best possible wildlife access.
