Legendary Nile
Nile Cruise - The best way to see Egypt
The ancient mysteries of Egypt come alive as you embark on an unforgettable journey through this land of antiquities. Gaze at the mysterious and awe-inspiring Great Pyramids, marvel at the Sphinx, walk the colorful bazaars.
Set sail on the River Nile on a multi-day cruise, exploring both the East and West Bank of Luxor, Thebes, and Aswan. Stand at the foot of the ancient temples and mosques in the Valley of the Kings and Queens.
Included in Legendary Nile is an excursion to Abu Simbel, one of the most recognizable sites other than the Pyramids. For 3,000 years, the temples sat on the west bank of the Nile. However, in a remarkable feat of engineering, the temple complex was totally dismantled and rebuilt on higher ground in the 1960s. The relocation of the temples was necessary, or they would have been submerged during the creation of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan High Dam on the River Nile.
