  Sossusvlei

  Namib Desert

  A scenic flight takes you directly into the awe-inspiring Sossusvlei region. The stark landscape consists of rocky plains, mountainous areas with dry river valleys, and a large, raised plateau which towers above the desert below.
  
  The area is home to oryx, springbok, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, Burchell’s zebra, kudu, hartebeest, giraffe, steenbok, klipspringer, bat-eared fox, and aardwolf, as well as predators such as leopard, cheetah, and brown and spotted hyena.
  
  Spend the day exploring the remarkable sights of the Namib Desert. Embark on a guided afternoon drive exploring the area or, for the more adventurous, explore the surrounding landscapes on foot or e-bike.

  Sossusvlei

  Red Sand Dunes

  A magical day awaits you as you board your scenic helicopter flight over Sossusvlei's red dunes and Deadvlei (weather permitting). There’s no better way to embrace the vast beauty of Namibia’s desert than from the air. Witness the region’s most extraordinary secrets, from rolling sand dunes and craggy ridges to ancient rock formations and the mysterious geometry of fairy circles. From this rare vantage, the desert becomes a living canvas, its quiet power and shifting hues stirring something deep within.
  
  Pause for a champagne picnic in a secluded spot, and the experience becomes more than just beautiful. It becomes unforgettable.
  
  This afternoon, set out on a guided Big Dune walk, where you may spot the desert-adapted oryx.
  
  End the evening with stargazing at the lodge's observatory under Namibia's clear skies.

  Sossusvlei

  Namib Desert

  Embark on a morning guided excursion to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, climbing dunes for panoramic views and exploring the white clay pan with dead acacia trees. Then adventure out on a desert drive or Living Dunes activity, learning about the dune ecology.
  
  Explore the reserve on foot and by quad bike with your specialist guide, who’ll uncover the secrets of the dunes. You'll learn about the unique creatures that call this living desert a home. Watch as your guide reads the signs in the sand and join him as he tracks diurnal lizards, endemic dune larks, and, if you are in luck, a Grant’s golden mole.
  
  After dark, under a blanket of stars, there are a number of nocturnal hunters that become active such as the web-footed gecko, dancing white lady spider, Peringuey’s adder, hairy-footed gerbils, barking geckos, and more.

  Etosha Park

  Ongava Safari Private Reserve

  Leave the Namib desert and board a flight back to Windhoek, where you'll meet your private guide and set off to Etosha National Park, via Okahandja, where, if time allows, you can visit the curio market.
  
  Okahandja is a town of great significance to the Herero people, because it was once the seat of Chief Sameul Maharero.
  
  Continue on your journey to your lodge, arriving in the late afternoon, just in time for an afternoon private sundowner drive with a local guide and vehicle.

  Etosha - Southern Region

  Ongava Safari Private Reserve

  Take to the bush for a full day of game viewing within the southern section of Etosha National Park.
  
  Etosha National Park, translated as the "Place of Mirages," "Land of Dry Water," or "the Great White Place," and covers 12,000 square miles, of which over 2700 is made up of salt pans.
  
  The Park consists of grassland, woodland, and savannah. Game viewing centers around the numerous waterholes where wildlife gathers. It is not uncommon to see elephant, lion, giraffe, blue wildebeest, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, rhino, cheetah, hyena, honey badger, and warthog, as well as the endemic, black-faced impala.
  
  Your Guide will check in the morning as to where the animals are gathering. According to the best location, you can opt to spend a full day inside the park or drive on the private Ongava Reserve. Either way, you will return to the comforts of your lodge by mid-afternoon, where you have some siesta time before you take part in another scenic afternoon private sundowner drive.

  Etosha - Eastern Region

  Onguma Safari Private Reserve

  Game viewing today will take you into the eastern section of Etosha National Park with your guide. From the southern Andersson’s Gate to Halali (where you may stop for lunch), make your way to selected waterholes such as Goas, where you may find hundreds of zebras enjoying the refreshing waters.
  
  At the end of the day, arrive at your ultra-exclusive safari lodge, situated right next to a very busy waterhole in the Onguma Nature Reserve. You'll have the opportunity for game viewing from the comfort of your accommodations.

  Onguma Safari Private Reserve

  Onguma Reserve consists of 35,970 hectares of Namibian wilderness and is home to numerous plains game, more than 300 bird species, and even four of the "Big 5." The reserve boasts over thirty different animal species. Plains game roam freely on the reserve, and predators, although not always easy to spot, are nevertheless common residents of the area. Lions and cheetahs are frequently seen and often heard. There is a healthy black rhino and leopard population, and hyenas are also often seen and heard. Most recently white rhinos can also be spotted during sundowner drives.
  
  Explore this region on a sunrise or sunset game drive with an expert guide. This part of Namibia is a bird watcher's paradise, especially in the summer months.
  
  An interpretative bush walk also offers you the chance to watch the intimate lives of wild animals of the African bushveld from a respectful distance.

  Cheetah Conservation Center

  One of the highlights of your stay in Namibia will be the visit to The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF).
  
  The focus here is on research, conservation, and education. An extensive, modern Visitor and Education Center encourages visitors to learn about cheetahs, their habitat, and issues of conservation, with an opportunity to see resident non-releasable cheetahs acting as "cheetah ambassadors" for the species.
  
  The large modern Education Center houses a museum that provides visitors and students the opportunity to learn more about the behavior and biology of the cheetah and the Namibian ecosystem that supports Africa's most endangered cat species.

  Windhoek - Departure

  Cheetah Run - Your Journey Onward

  This morning, you may be able to see one of the thrilling cheetah runs, as they head out for their morning exercise.
  
  Then head back to Windhoek, where your Namibia journey draws to a close as you board your flight to begin your onward journey.
