STANDARD GORILLA TREK - Set off early this morning to the base of your trek. Park rangers will discuss the procedures and rules in the viewing. Walk can be from one to four hours and at altitudes over 7500 feet above sea level. Once the family is located, observe them for approximately one hour then trek back down to base camp after one of the most fascinating days of your life!

HABITUATION GORILLA TREK - The habituation visit is for the traveler who would like a learning experience not just a viewing. Throughout the trek the ranger will share knowledge about the project. There maybe times where the guests may even participate in data collection. Once the gorillas are located - you will be able to observe them from one to four hours. The gorillas move and the experience may vary from day to day.
